Gerussi was founded in 1969 for the mass production of solid wood furniture.
The company has evolved during the course of its first 30 years of activity.
In the first ten-year period, the company was structured following the development of the market through a scale economy research, strengthening its production capacity to its utmost and targeting at volume and quantity.
In the second ten-year period, during the 80s, when the furniture market was in its full development stage, Gerussi started to concentrate on the quality of its raw materials and its production cycles, changing from a company producing large volumes to a company targeting more on quality.
In the 90s when the marcoeconomic scenario introduced the concept of market globalisation, Gerussi had set up its own corporate organisation by upgrading the production departments with plants and machinery that were able to guarantee flexibility, service, quality and competitivity so that it could penetrate the international sector.
Today, the market has to be handled by following a logic of expansion and total quality, the market requires diversification of the products and a more adequate service to meet the evolving needs.

Gerussi is ready to offer its production know-how through its in-house organisation and with the experience gained over the course of these past few years with important European and American customers, to promote itself on the market, to make itself known and to offer its services to the market.

The premises extend over an area of 10.000 square meters. Besides its own plants and machinery, Gerussi also has a complex system of sub-suppliers, who have been carefully selected and are constantly checked by the technical and quality managers. This organization can handle with any kind of requirement in terms of quality and volumes.

The company is structured to work solid wood and veneer panels. Gerussi's production is flexible also thanks to its modern equipment and CNC machinery. Even small and medium sized articles can be mass-produced.

Gerussi, through its continuous research and creation and with its deep-rooted traditions in craftsmanship, makes every attempt to preserve and enhance the ancient woodworking techniques, by slowly adapting them with the wise use of more innovative technological solutions.
